Invest in Compact Fluorescent Lights: During the day, these bulbs offer a warmer light than compact fluorescent lights, but at night they shine just as bright as incandescent lights. The advantage of CFLs is that they use up to 75% less energy than incandescent bulbs. Compact fluorescent lights are available at most big stores and you can save up to 80% of your energy costs.


Choosing energy efficient products is a great way to reduce your energy consumption and, at the same time, reduce your carbon footprint. This doesn’t just apply to appliances either, because changing your lights to high energy efficient ones can also reduce your carbon footprint!
